- Q:How to determine the type of processor in your Mac?
- A:1. Visit the "About This Mac" window, In the Finder, choose "About This Mac" from the "Apple" menu.
2. Look at the Processor line to see which kind of processor is in your Mac. - Q:What does PAL stands for?
-
A:The PAL (Phase Alternating Line) TV standard was introduced in the early 1960's in Europe. It has better Resolution than NTSC, having 576 lines in the Active Area of the Frame. The Framerate, however, is slightly lower at 25fps.
PAL is used in most of the western European countries (except France), Australia, some countries of Africa, some countries of South America and in some Asian countries. Because the PAL signal is very close to the SECAM format used in France and some eastern European countries, SECAM viewers generally use PAL equipment (like DVD players) modified to convert the output to use SECAM's unique color encoding.

- A: NTSC is a color TV standard developed in the U.S. in 1953 by the National Television System Committee. NTSC uses a Frame consisting of 486 horizontal lines in the Active Area and a Framerate of 29.97fps. The frame is interlaced, meaning it's composed of two individual fields (pictures) with a Fieldrate of 59.94fps.
- Q:I just load totally 3GB files into the program and I know the capability of a DVD disk should be 4.7GB. But why I was told that the burning can not be finished because there is not enough free space on the DVD disk?
-
A:Generally speaking, after your video files are burned into standard DVD, which means you can play the final disc on your TV DVD player, the content on the disk will be definitely larger than the original video files since DVD is not compressed. So maybe your original files are only 3GB, but the final DVD content will be much larger. Please note what "Volume" shows for the final output size on the bottom of the interface. The Blue stands the space the videos use.

- Q:What kind of DVD disk does your program support, DVD+R or DVD-R? How about RAM disk or double-layer disk?
- A:Our software can support DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. If the RW disk which you use is not empty, after show you certain notice before the burning job, our software will erase all the content on the disk. But our software can not support RAM disk, as well as double-layer disk now.
- Q:Can I get an ISO file with your program so that I can use it in my virtual drive? And how?
- A:Of course our software can help you with this job. When you click "Burn", in the following dialog-box, you can tick "ISO file" at the corresponding place ("Burn to"). You can get an ISO file which can be used by your virtual DVD drive or Nero.

- Q:what does "DVD Folder" mean?
- A:Actually, it is a backup tool for your new created DVD. If you choose burn to "DVD Folder", you will get two folders in the output directory you set, "Video_TS" and "Audio_TS". In the "Video_TS" folder, you will find VOB files, IFO files and BUP files, etc. They will form a standard DVD if you burn them into a DVD disk by any other burning program.
- Q:How can I correct the Aspect ratio?
- A:After you edit your videos and click "burn", in the following dialog-box, you can choose the Aspect ratio (16:9 or 4:3). The default one is 4:3.
- Q:What does ISO do? According to your description, it is the image file of DVD. But how can I use it after an ISO is created by your program?
- A:ISO is the image file of the DVD which can be read by many virtual drive programs. If you can get ISO read by such programs, you can get it played or ripped like a standard DVD movie. Since it can be stored on your hard disk, so long as you have enough free space on your hard drive, it is very convenient. Generally, we recommend Daemon Tools virtual drive, which is much smaller than other virtual programs and easy to use. You can get it downloaded from here.
- Q:I am not satisfied with the final burning quality. Is it possible for me to improve it?
- A:Please select "Highest Quality" for at the bottom of the main interface. The default one is "Best Performance". The output DVD quality will be better if you select "Highest Quality."
- Q:Sometimes when I burn a DVD, in the middle of the process, the program shows "Failed to open DVD Drive" and then the burning is stopped. How can I correct it?
- A:Maybe your original files have been in very high quality. The bit rate of your files would be in a higher value. In such conditions, the burning can not be completed if you still set "Highest Quality". You'd better just use the default one, "High Quality" or "Low Quality" for your burning job.
