The Main Interface

1. DVD Box List:
All the boxes can be listed here in queue. You can click
to create a new box. Click
to import a box. Click
to remove a box from the list or physically delete it from hard drive as well. Click
to sort DVD Box list entries by box name ascendingly or descendingly.
2. Image Making Area:
Click
to make an image of the DVD inserted. When it starts to make an image, there will be a progress bar as indication of the image making process.
3. DVD Info Display Area:
Display all the related information of a DVD movie, such as name, director, actor and so on. You can also get information by clicking Download Info.
4. Image Panel: This panel shows you how many images the selected DVD Box contains. A DVD Box may have several images as it is a DVD set.
5. Image Management: Mount Image, Delete Image and Convert buttons are listed here for you to mount a selected image for watching, to delete an image or convert an image to other formats with iMedia Converter.
Step 1, Building A DVD Box
At the bottom of DVD Box list area, Click
to start to build a DVD Box. You need to specify where you want to save the DVD Box:

Step 2, Downloading DVD Info
Click "Download Info" button to get this dialog:

Then you need to input the UPC code (Universal Product Code) on the back of the DVD case.
The UPC code is unique. With the code, you can download information about the DVD, such as name, studio, director and so from internet. Besides UPC code, you can use key words to download DVD information. Click "Title" button and enter the key words, then click "OK". For example, you can input "Alvin" to search for information about "Alvin and Chipmunks".
Tips: There are many search result if you use Title key words to download information. Within the results, you need to manually select the one you want.
Step 3, Creating DVD Image
After you build a DVD Box and download related information, now you can start to make image for the DVD. What you need to do is just simple: insert the DVD disc, click Make Image.

In the panel above, you can choose where you want to save the image. The image can be saved in the DVD Box that you just built as well as the information that has been downloaded. Also, you can build a new DVD Box for the image.
Tip: In a DVD Box, there might be several images as a DVD set.
Step 4, Enjoying the movie in DVD Box
As a DVD Box has been made, it's time to enjoy the movie without the DVD disc.
Select a DVD Box to highlight it in the list, and choose an image in the box, then click ![]()
In Finder, you will find the volume mounted. Now, you need to use VLC player to play it:
Launch VLC player application;
Click "File" button on the top bar, then choose "Open Disc..." ;

In Open Source dialog, please choose VIDEO_TS directory, then click Browse... to choose VIDEO_TS folder in the mounted volume.

When the folder is loaded, the movie is played automatically. Please enjoy!
Tip: You can select all images in a DVD Box to mount by clicking Image button on the top bar and choosing Mount All Images.

Note: Besides these great features that DVD-Library offers, you can get more. You can use iSkysoft iMedia Converter to convert the ISO files to many other formats, such as MP4, AVI, MOV and so on if you already have installed it. If not, please download it from here and install it in Application folder.
